Program Description FYI AmeriCorps Members address multiple student needs that of which are aligned with comprehensive school turnaround plans to enhance their learning experience and obtain the skills necessary to meet their educational goals. The program strives to achieve improved academic performance, academic engagement, and attendance outcomes of students by means of three distinct activities: 1. Safe After School services, 2. In School Support services, and 3. Safe Out-of-School Summer Program services, known as “Enterprise City”. Program Description CONSERVATION PROGRAMS: RMYC Conservation Program provides work crews on a daily, weekly or monthly basis to municipalities, agencies, or organizations in need of conservation services. Crews work on public lands, including private lands with public easements. Projects must have long-term community impact, provide educational opportunities, and/or be high priority. Partners include national forest, state lands, local parks and more. Member receive an AmeriCorps living stipend and scholarship for their services. Program Description AmeriCorps EcoRangersEcoRangers, a year-long AmeriCorps community outreach program now in its fifth year, aims to continue the mission of directly engaging the community through service.
